Founder’s Story

16 years of bookkeeping work for Abbott Services Inc. taught Jenny how accurate financial data can help business owners make better decisions. She founded Jenny Abbott Company in 2012 to support more businesses through sound bookkeeping and financial reporting. Working with small businesses whose owners wear a lot of hats allows Jenny to help our clients get their cash flow coordinated with personal financial needs. As a professional business woman and owner, her goal is to empower small businesses to push through difficult times while helping them build healthier businesses and lives.

JENNY ABBOTT, FOUNDER

Jenny has dedicated her life to helping other businesses reach their fullest potential while working with families and individuals to understand their finances along the way. As an experienced QuickBooks consultant, she specializes in crisis bookkeeping, back office systems design, and financial management training. One of her favorite parts of what she does is giving our clients peace of mind by knowing where they stand financially. She loves untangling complex problems -- the messier, the better!  It’s no surprise then that one of her favorite activities is knitting, in addition to antiquing, reading, going on walks, and of course, spending time with her family (including seven grandkids and an adopted puppy!)

Jessica Huskey, Client Manager

Jessica loves all things puzzles, organization, and checklists, which together equal bookkeeping! She enjoys taking care of those peripheral business tasks so that you can focus in on what you love to do.  After graduating from Azusa Pacific University with a BA in Business Administration, Jessica got her professional start in marketing and finance and has been solving bookkeeping puzzles for the last ten years. Being part of our team at Jenny Abbott Company lets her learn about a variety of businesses which is one of her favorite parts about her work.  When she’s not working, you can find Jessica hanging out with her husband and three kids, probably outdoors somewhere.

Heidi Noon, Bookkeeper

Heidi thrives on creating clarity out of chaos.  Through bookkeeping, she loves bringing organization and peace to an area that many small business owners find chaotic and stressful. She was a CPA in the State of California and has 16 years of experience as an auditor, financial consultant, and Accredited Senior Appraiser for the healthcare industry. Heidi brings her insight and analysis skills to Jenny Abbott Company where she enjoys being part of the team because we prioritize care, accuracy, and compassion in all of our interactions.  Her other titles include Girl Scout Science Project Lead, Soccer Team Party Coordinator, and Home Chef for her family of four.

Sherry Filler, Bookkeeper

Sherry is a numerical storyteller who uses categorization and organization to help our clients understand their cash flows. When she’s not creating beautiful reports out of unruly data, Sherry enjoys gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family--including two Labs! Her education background in business and accounting as well as her experience in many industries makes Sherry a wonderful addition to the team. She’s most often described by friends and family as hard-working and helpful--we couldn’t agree with them more!
